Girlie Shirt: Sunny Buick
$45.00 KFJC's 2nd annual Girlie Shirt features a fabulous design by San Francisco tattoo artist, Sunny Buick. After serving an apprenticeship with the great master of American tattooing, Henry Goldfield, Sunny has worked for many years in SF's notoriously sleazy North Beach area, famous for its strip clubs and jazz bars, haunted by beatniks, poets and punks. With images of chipped teeth, burning skulls and dangerous women etched into her consciousness, she's influenced by American tattoo imagery, Mexican folk art and Tibetan/oriental design. She's a Leo, loves music and record collecting, and her grandmother was born without arms and could do everything with her feet. This year's model is printed on a white, short sleeve, girl crew T- shirt made from 5.8 ounce, super soft baby rib knit. The 100% combed ring-spun cotton shirt is pre-shrunk and features capped sleeves, great elasticity and a custom fit. The KFJC Girlie Shirt is available as our thanks for your generous donation of $45 or more. |
