KFJC Live Compilation CD: The Dunedin Sound
$33.33

Listeners know that for many years KFJC has been a big supporter of music from New Zealand, as represented by the fine Flying Nun and Xpressway labels. Last October, a large cultural festival, “The Otago Festival Of The Arts”, took place in Dunedin, New Zealand. As part of the festival, there was a series of performances, “The Dunedin Sound”, which showcased some of the many fine artists from Dunedin whose music we’ve enjoyed over the years. KFJC sent a team down to New Zealand to produce an amazing series of live broadcasts from all of “The Dunedin Sound” performances. This October, we’re very pleased and proud to commemorate our broadcasts of the outstanding “The Dunedin Sound” performances with a double CD, “KFJC 89.7 FM Presents The Dunedin Sound”. This two CD set features exclusive live tracks by each of the artists who performed at the festival, some of which have never been previously released in any form. We hope you’ll take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity to hear some of these unique bands from New Zealand that made music history.
