You never know where The Sonic Troubadour may pop up. It may be a smoky NYC nightclub in the 60's for a fiery free jazz explosion. Or perhaps it will be a dingy waterfront bar in Cleveland during the 1970's for some authentic punk rock. It may be the East Bay of today where some of the best hip-hop is being created. Or maybe it will be in the ruins of an ancient Japanese temple in the 90's for some contemporary acid folk. It may be a studio in Kingston during the 1970's where they're laying down some rootical dub. Or perhaps it will be in a West Coast "dance hall" of the 1960's where heads are tripping on the mind expanding psych. It may be a commune in Germany in the early 70's for some classic Krautrock sounds. Or maybe it will be in a room of a small house on the foggy coast of the South Island of New Zealand during the 1980's where downcast loners are creating little gems of dark, lo-fi pop strumble. Like I said, you just never know where The Sonic Troubadour will pop up, but whenever/wherever he does, its sure to be a scene and you'd hate to miss out. So catch the Adventures Of The Sonic Troubadour on 89.7 FM, KFJC.
