Hosted by Cousin Mary and Surfer Rosa, this special consists of 6 hours of surf music drawing from a variety of different forms and origins. From 3p-5p: International surf. Surf music from all around the globe, excluding the United States and especially California. We have surf music coming all the way from Finland, Wales and even Peru. Truly a worldly surf experience. From 5-7pm: Horror Surf! Here we will be airing surf music which is reminiscent of the cemetery, ghouls and campy 60s monster movies. Think of it as a premature surf themed Halloween. From 7-9pm: Classic 60's surf. Surf music dating all the way back to its original roots, we will be airing surf exclusively from the 1960s to provide you with the original sounds of surf music, and perhaps a bit of history as well. So let yourself drown in the waters of reverb and twang. We will be spending this Saturday afternoon at the beach!
