The Homestead and Wolfe Special
Hosted by Mitch LeMay
They met up at the Good Samaritan United Methodist
Church in Cupertino, and ended up making some of the
finest folk harmony pop music of the 1970s. When
Ernie Bringas brought them to the legendary Gold Star
Studios in Hollywood to record with some of the top
session men in Los Angeles, it was a case of genius at
first listen.
Anopheles Records head Karl Ikola re-issued these masters in 2004, and the rest of the world can hear them now, too........
Join original HOMESTEAD & WOLFE members Brian Gundy, JoAnne Avery and Ted Larson, with special guest Karl Ikola, in live performance and interview with Mitch LeMay in a Mayhem Special celebrating The Gold Star Tapes 1973-75 release, and the life and times of HOMESTEAD & WOLFE
