Sunday Mayhem 26 11AM-7PM
Hosted By Dave Emory

On Sunday, May 26th and on Monday, 5/27, Dave Emory will host a Memorial Day Weekend special as part of KFJC's Month of Mayhem. Memorial Day is set aside to commemorate America's fallen in foreign wars. World War II was the bloodiest and most expensive of this country's foreign wars. This marathon program will examine in detail how globalization and the international cartel system fostered the development of fascism - the driving force behind World War II. Through powerful, interlocking corporate relationships with the German and Japanese elites, Wall Street power brokers invested the profits from America's economic boom of the 1920s (the "Roaring Twenties") in Japanese and German strategic heavy industry, thereby enabling the machinery of conquest that overran Europe and most of Asia. By preserving these corporate relationships and nurturing the Japanese and German fascists who realized Axis policy around the world as combatants in the nascent Cold War, America's power elite negated the best efforts of its fighting forces and betrayed the United States. The preservation of the German and Japanese wartime economic gains became the foundation for the present global economy.
